Sensei Eric Radoman

Sensei Eric Radoman is Co-Owner and Chief Instructor at Edge Martial Arts. He began his study of karate in 1993 under Shihan Jim Chillemi and earned his black belt in 1999. He holds the rank of Godan (fifth degree black belt) in goju-ryu. The martial arts has always been a passion and a way of life for Eric, and has guided the course of his life.

He actively trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is a certified instructor of Kali-4-Kids from Master Apollo Landra. Sensei Eric has instructed thousands of students in the local Westchester area and has had the privilege to see hundreds of those students make it to black belt. Sensei Eric believes that martial arts training should be an integral piece in the education of every child. Through the martial arts, he hopes to instill his students with the courage, confidence and work ethic needed to succeed in life.

Sensei Ben Andersen

Sensei Ben Andersen began his study of karate in 2001 and earned his black belt in 2005. He holds the rank of Godan (fifth degree black belt) in goju-ryu, originally received in 2018 and re-certified in 2024 under Kyoshi Paul Enfield, 8th Dan. His karate teachers have included Shihan Jim Chillemi, Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura, Kyoshi Glenn Cunningham, and Kyoshi Paul Enfield, among others. He trains under Sensei Russ Smith in Matayoshi Kobudo and Professor Omar Jimenez in Brazilian Jiujitsu.

Sensei Ben has competed nationally in kata competition, is a licensed Kata Coach and Kata Judge in the USA National Karate Federation, and is USOPC SafeSport trained. He is the head coach for the Edge Martial Arts competition team. As a teacher, he enjoys deepening students’ understanding of karate at the intermediate and advanced levels. He hopes his students will, through their martial arts training, embrace the value of developing an unshakable work ethic and discipline.

Sensei Caroleann Radoman

Sensei Caroleann Radoman began her study of karate in 1997 and earned her black belt in 2005. She holds the rank of Yondan (fourth degree black belt) in goju-ryu.

Sensei Caroleann attended Fordham University and graduated in 2012 with a BS in General Science. She currently works full-time in medical laboratory sales. Sensei Caroleann enjoys encouraging her customers to think about their ultimate goals, and does the same with her students. She loves teaching young, beginner martial artists and helping them fall in love with karate and the many benefits it can add to their lives. The importance of goal setting, discipline, focus, and perseverance are all values she hopes to instill in her students.

As Director of Operations, Sensei Caroleann oversees all aspects of Edge Martial Arts, and hopes to run it as efficiently as possible. When she isn’t working or teaching her students, Sensei Caroleann enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, and scuba diving.
