"Edge Martial Arts has been our best decision for our son who has some mild sensory issues. All instructors (and advanced students who often assist) are incredible with him! They know exactly how to make the moves accessible and challenging at the same time. They teach control, discipline, and technique without ever making the classes seem too strict. The kids always have so much fun!"

"From the time we were in pre-school, the practice of martial arts has been a fundamental part of our development, education, and family. We grew up with martial arts and the skills we learned have uniquely prepared us for our futures. The greatest gift that martial arts has given us is confidence in ourselves, and the skills we practiced first in martial arts are the ones we use on a daily basis in college, medical school, and the working world. We are used to hard work and know we have an edge coming from martial arts."

"Karate is not just a sport to me, it’s become part of how I live my life. The lessons I learned in the dojo have imbued me with a sense of self-confidence and, at the same time, a sense of humility. I learned to push through any obstacle in my path, and to treat everyone with respect and gratitude."

"I am in my third year at Yale, and I know that I still depend on my karate training every day. Martial arts gave me confidence, and taught me the importance of hard work, values, and relationships. I would highly recommend training with Sensei Eric, Sensei Caroleann, and Sensei Ben at Edge Martial Arts!"
